Itoculo Cashew Centre benefits about 3000 families
The Cashew and Rural Development Center, through its 115 hectares of land and 2 cashew and juice processing units, continues to play the role of promoting of this crop. The Center transfers technology across the entire cashew value chain as one of the measures to help small farmers develop, benefiting up to 3,000 households.
The Itoculo Cashew and Rural Development Center was created by ADPP Mozambique to develop the rural areas of the Administrative Post of Itoculo, in Monapo district in the province of Nampula.
Technology transfer has a noticeable impact on some households that have increased productivity in their fields. With the money obtained in the Project, communities can pay transportation, hospital and especially the improvement of their diet.
